The North Star Times begins with a conviction: African American life deserves to be told in its fullness. Our joys, ambitions, creativity, and everyday experiences belong at the center of the story.

As a liberation and freedom newspaper associated with the Nationals Party, our purpose is to give our community a place to see itself with pride and dignity. We want to make room for neighborhood voices, cultural expression, and conversations about the future we share.

This inaugural edition introduces that vision through original editorials. As our newsroom develops, this will become a home for reported community stories, clearly distinguished from opinion.
